Josh Brown ORCID logo is a co-founder of MoreBrains Cooperative, where he is their research and strategy lead. He has worked on open research projects for ARDC, CERN, Crossref, Jisc, ORCID, the University of London and others. Having funded innovative projects in scholarly communications at Jisc, he moved to CERN, where he helped to flip particle physics journals to open access as part of the SCOAP3 project. In a variety of roles at ORCID, Josh helped the initiative to grow and become sustainable while becoming embedded in the open community. He worked for Crossref on the launch of their grant DOI service, before setting up his own consultancy specialising in open research infrastructure and community building. He has explored the challenges of advancing and opening up research in partnership with funders, libraries, research institutions, policy makers and research infrastructure providers in dozens of countries on six continents (seven if you count Zealandia/Te Riu-a-Māui).
