Dr. Shuai Yan is currently an independent consultant based in Beijing. His previous career endeavors include: academic relationship director, Springer Nature China; associate chief editor of Tsinghua University Press (TUP), director of TUP’s Journal Publishing Center, and editor in chief of Journal of Tsinghua University (Science and Technology); director of Journal Publishing Department of Beijing Forestry University. Shuai has also worked with societies and government organizations for many years: president of Society of China University Journals; vice president of China Periodical Association; member of CAST’s Committee for Academic Exchanges; member of Ministry of Education’s S&T Committee.
