The OAI14 Scientific and Organising Committees are grateful to our sponsors for their financial support. Global events such as the OAI Workshops are designed to present cutting-edge developments and services to a world-wide audience. We can only do this with financial support from external partners who share our vision and our values. We thank all the sponsors listed here for their generosity and their support for this well-established series of global Workshops.

OAI14 Sponsors in their own words
Digital Science is proud to support OAI14: Open Science in a Changing World.
This year’s theme mirrors our mission to foster a research ecosystem that is both resilient and responsible as global scientific communication evolves. Enabling open, collaborative, inclusive research.
As a sponsor, we’re excited about the deep alignment between our values and the conference’s five critical sessions: Research Security and Openness, Open Infrastructures, Navigating AI in Open Science, Commercialization and Open Science, and Research Integrity. The conference’s emphasis on human-centered approaches particularly aligns with our philosophy.
Our platforms and services empower institutions to navigate this nuanced landscape. From advancing interoperable open infrastructures and facilitating secure, FAIR-aligned data-sharing, to integrating trustworthy AI tools that democratize access, we champion innovation that is as open as possible, as closed as necessary.
We also firmly believe in upholding research integrity and transparency, especially at a time when reproducibility is challenged and AI misuse is rising. Through our analytics and publication tools, we support researchers in reinforcing trustworthy and ethical scientific standards.
By partnering with OAI14, we reaffirm our commitment to a future where openness, security, collaboration, and integrity converge. We look forward to contributing to, and learning from the conversations shaping Open Science.
UCL Press is the UK’s first fully Open Access University Press. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025, the Press has recorded twenty million downloads of its OA research monographs, journals and textbooks. The Press is delighted to celebrate this anniversary by being an active sponsor of OAI14. Open Access is a founding principle on which the Press was founded. Download figures for its research monographs show that the impact of the research published is far greater than the traditional sale of monographs over the bookshop counter. Downloads of UCL Press titles have taken place in 242 countries and territories around the world. UCL Press is thus proud to be an innovator in the scholarly publishing space. Innovation is also one of the founding principles of the Press.
Open Science and Innovation are also key themes of the OAI meetings. Now in their 14th iteration, they began with just fifty attenders in Geneva in OAI1 in 2001. Now, in 2025, there will be over 1,000 registrations for the 5-day event from all over the world. OAI14 is making special connections with the Global South and the Press is in close collaboration with Open Books Hong Kong, which is publishing a selection of scholarly books from Hong Kong’s three university presses. These are released free of charge to the public, demonstrating a shared commitment to the global open knowledge movement.
OAI14 embodies all these values and more. UCL Press is a proud sponsor of this event in 2025.
