
Dr Huang Jinxia

Dr Jinxia Huang is the director of the Open Science Research Center of National Science Library of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (NSLC) and a professor of the School of Economics and Management of the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). She holds a PhD in Biology and worked on literature resource construction in NSLC for 10 years. She became the head of the Open S&T Resources Development Team for CAS in 2013 and has participated in the research and practice projects on open science for CAS, China and UNESCO since 2020. She led the team to establish a global high-quality OA paper integration platform GoOA (including more than 27,000 OA journals and more than 16 million OA papers, and signed OA data cooperation agreements with 30 international publishers), developd the APC rationality Inquiry tool APCheck (gooa.las.ac.cn/APCheck), and annually released the “List of Global High-quality OA S&T Journals” ”Global OA Journals and APC Monitoring Reports”. These projects are funded by CAS, China's National Social Science Foundation.

Fostering Open Science Infrastructure Collaboration: Open for Science
The open science infrastructure has gone through three main developmental stages and has now entered a phase characterized by science clustering and collective intelligence. In alignment with the strategic goals of the “International Decade of Science for Sustainable Development (2024–2033),” this report introduces the progress in developing the open science infrastructure sharing network as part of the initiative "Open for Science."
